Critical Role

I mean, it's Critical Role, they're like literally the biggest actual play podcast out there. If you've somehow managed to discover us without being aware of them, I am absolutely impressed. Anyways, Critical Role is a live streamed show that is ran and played by a bunch of voice actor friends. Chances are, if you are into popular video games or animated shows, then you have heard some of their voices.

Critical Role is an actual play set in the vast living world of Exandria, created by Matthew Mercer, and I can only dream of one day having the time to create a world with the depth that he has. The show is very role play and narrative driven with a focus on major overarching plots that are constantly put on the back burner because the players came across something more urgently pressing, or just more distracting (sounds familiar).

As you can see by our list of who recommends this show, Critical Role is listened to by most of our cast and is actually one of the primary reasons Adventures in Erylia even exists, as it was the hinge interest that initially brought our circle together.
